D the same problem in my hands & feet. My doctor told me that I had Raynaud's syndrome which was aggrivated by taking the drug, not the cause. Since it is the only medication that really helps to control my problems, I just make certain I wear gloves and warm socks when it gets cold. I believe one of the side effects are cold extremities, which I have. Atenolol does make me feel tired too. Atenolol also reduces headaches.
